Available in 100g and 150g sizes, these leads hold bottom far better than you might expect — even the lighter version outperforms standard 100g leads. The open-end design likely helps it dig into sand or shingle during the tide run, acting like a mini shovel. In fact, you may find it anchors so well that you’ll want to open up the grip wires slightly to allow for easier release when retrieving.

Recommended Rig:

• Three-hook drop-down rig with soft baits
• Use a pulley swivel that slides freely up the trace body — no crimps
• Hook lengths of 15–20lb to keep things tangle-free
